MINISTRIES

The Sprouts Nursery is designed to minister to children from birth to three years of age. It is our desire to offer a safe and clean space with loving and experienced staff so young children may experience the love of Jesus and parents may have confidence that their precious little ones are being cared for by loving and trustworthy volunteers as they are engaged in the services and ministries of LifePoint. The nursery is staffed at 10:30 on Sunday mornings until the service is dismissed. The nursery is available for use on Wednesday evenings but staff is not available.

LP Kids is designed to minister to children from three to eleven years of age. We endeavor to ignite a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ in a safe and clean atmosphere of love and fun. Not only do we offer Sunday School classes at 10am, but we provide several large community events each year (Annual Easter Egg Hunt, VBS, and Trunk or Treat) for children and families to have fun while experiencing the love of God.

Our Clubs meet on Wednesday nights at 7pm all year long. Clubs are designed to ignite an excitement amongst our kids age five to twelve years old. Boys and girls will grow in their relationship with God while learning life skills and having lots of fun together!

The Hyphen Young Adult Ministry is designed to establish a Christ-centered culture in the lives of single young adults, ages 18-29, and to create an environment in which every person is able to grow in their walk with God, build Godly relationships, and find a place to serve within be local body of Christ. Hyphens meet at 10:00 on Sunday Mornings and also have regular outings, events and retreats.

LP Campus is our campus ministry at Ohio University in Athens. LP Campus is not your average OU student organization. It is an opportunity to dig deeper in the word on an ongoing basis and to fellowship with like-minded students. It is place to belong...a home away from home.

LP Ladies Ministry exists to give women a place to belong and to cultivate Godly friendships with other women while growing in their own walk with God. The ladies meet on a bi-monthly basis for social gatherings as well as attending an annual Ladies Day Trip and weekend Ladies Retreat.

LP Men's Ministry exists to develop Biblically-grounded men and to hold one another accountable while cultivating Godly friendships. The men meet on a bi-monthly basis for social events as well as attending a weekend Men's Conference each fall.

The IFM exists to help every foreign attendee feel loved, accepted, encouraged and equipped to pursue a growing relationship with Jesus Christ while they are at LP. The IFM hosts periodic social events and ensures all foreign attendees are cared for over important holiday's and special personal

The Aroma Cafe at LP opens at 10am on Sunday's to extend a warm welcome, friendly conversation, and a sense of community by encouraging guests and regular attendees to enjoy quality coffee and other refreshments as they build relationships and make connections with one another.

It is vital to the growth of new believers and sometimes important for the refreshing and renewal of seasoned members to engage in a personal, small group Bible study. We offer several small group studies on Wednesday evenings at 7pm. We also have many qualified Bible teachers who teach one-on-one, personalized studies to meet your personal needs at a time and place most convenient for you.

The music department brings glory to God through worship and arts and cultivates an atmosphere where Jesus is glorified and lives are changed. The music team organizes music for every Sunday service as well as several special services throughout the year.

The LP Mass Choir, Sprouts (Toddler) Choir, Kids Choir and Sign Team are part of the worship arts at LifePoint. These groups provide quality worship and arts when called upon for special services and events at LP. They minister through music and the arts as they worship God and lead people into His presence.

The LP Van Ministry is dedicated to transporting to and from church and other church-related activities, people who would otherwise be unable to attend. Call the church for more information or to arrange transportation.
